Mari is working among tourism projects & teaching and studying beside work. She enjoys art exhibitions, live music, travelling and dance.
Mari Holopainen (41) is studying cultural management at the Humak University of Applied Sciences in Finland. Work for Naatange Art La is the internship for Finnish The Children and Youth Foundation. The main idea is to create materials for project communication and activate the social media channels of CYF.
Mari is working at the Jamk University of Applied Sciences. The work consists of teaching responsible tourism subjects and services, project planning and implementation as well as workshops with SME:s. Mari is studying beside work to widen her knowledge of cultural sector. She has had arts and dance as a hobby since childhood. Arts gives her energy and joy. She enjoys art exhibitions, live music, travelling and dance. She has tried also west african dances.
Voluntary work has been one of her hobbies. 2015 She took part to World Teacher program in Kenia sharing participatory teaching methods with local teachers.
Before that she worked among customer services in Finland.
After graduation her goal is to work in the field of global development abroad. She finds the combination of culture, tourism and development interesting.
